Dr. Tony Wanich specializes in the field of sports medicine and is an expert in the arthroscopic management of shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. After completing his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, Dr. Wanich received additional specialty training in Sports Medicine at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Dr. Wanich assisted with the care of the Los Angeles Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and the USC Football team. Dr. Wanich has a special interest in ACL tears, rotator cuff tears, and cartilage injuries, and utilizes cutting-edge operative and non-operative techniques in the management of these injuries. He has authored several chapters and papers on sports injuries and has been invited to speak both nationally and internationally. Additionally, he has appeared on television and has been quoted in multiple newspapers and magazines.
Dr. Wanich works with all types of patients from weekend warriors to elite athletes to get them back on the field as quickly as possible while also helping to prevent future injuries. He is currently the team physician for Lehman College, Truman High School, and Lehman High School. Dr. Wanich is an Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Kevin Corso, DPT, Team Physical Therapist
Kevin Corso is a NJ licensed Physical Therapist and a NJ licensed and BOC-certified Athletic Trainer who began working for Professional Physical Therapy in 2013. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education/Athletic Training from Castleton State College, a Master’s Degree in Education/Sports Medicine from Old Dominion University, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College. Prior to joining the team at Professional, Kevin gained experience in Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director positions at the High School level, and as a Physical Therapist in the Sports and Orthopedic setting. In addition to Kevin’s work treating patients, he has also taken on managerial responsibilities. Kevin believes in evaluating each individual’s needs, and using the appropriate tools to help each patient reach his or her full potential. He enjoys working with athletes of all ages and levels, and well as with post-surgical patients. Kevin is an active member of his community and volunteers on various committees for the local PAL, as well as serving as a youth baseball coach. He is a member of the APTA and the NATA.
